Korea name Video file subtitles (smi,srt) Not Reading (1.0.X version update after) -> most koreans same

Where do you run your server?
Is it on a NAS?
On a Windows PC?
An Apple computer?

Thanks. Theoretically, Windows should be the platform with the least problems when it comes to Unicode characters. Well, apparently not.

could you please:

  1. activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. empty the log folder
  5. start Plex Server
  6. wait 2 minutes
  7. go to the Preplay page of any movie with subtitles and start playback. let it play for 1 minute, then Stop.
  8. wait 3 minutes
  9. shut down Plex server
  10. wait 1 minute
  11. zip up the whole log folder and attach it here

Thank you for the log files.
However, I am missing the most important log file. Can you please repeat the procedure from above, but this time in step 7. please perform a Refresh of the movie?

Logs_1.zip --> Koreaname Movie File Run
Logs_2.zip --> Englishname Movie File Run

Go to
Settings - Server - Agents - Movies - Personal Media
is the check box on the line ‘Local Media Assets (Movies)’ filled?
If not, click it with your mouse so it gets a checkmark.

Please post the mediainfo XML of the movie with korean folder name.
(to be able to attach it, rename it to .txt or zip it)

server setting -> agents -> Non Default agents (my plug in daummovie.bundle) -> check "Local Media Assets (Movies) -> Good solution !
