Am I correct in understanding that this isn’t supported on the Xbox One app? Is there a list of which clients DO provide support for thumbnails while seeking (“trick mode”, Video Preview Thumbnails, etc.)?

They weren’t working before the latest patch, but they’re working now. Do you have the option turned on in your server settings?
What do you see when you seek? If you just see a small black ‘tooltip’ with speed and position, then you don’t have the option turned on. If you see big black empty boxes, then it’s probably a client issue.
Perfect! Thanks, that’s just what I was after. I’ve actually been using the PS4 version of the app lately, and it seems to have fallen a bit behind the xbox one.
