I know people have asked for tone-mapped HDR video preview thumbnails in the past, and it’s possible it may be added in the future, but I run both Plex and Emby in dockers on my Unraid server, and since Emby allows artwork, metadata, etc. to be generated alongside the video files, I can easily replace the .bif files with ones I’ve manually created that are properly tone-mapped. I have no idea how to get to them in Plex since they are squirreled away in non-searchable folders with no good naming structure. I do know where they are generally, but it’s a needle in a haystack trying to find the “right” folder with Plex. Does anybody know a way to navigate to them by movie/tv show name?
