Hi hoping someone can help me I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out this issue but to no avail.
I have a rackmount truenas server running a docker jail system that has the latest pull image of Jellyfin and Plex running.
I prefer using Plex and have just purchased the lifetime pass too. But for some reason Plex seems to struggle to play certain movies I have in my collection where they will start to play and then all of a sudden will just freeze but the audio will still play.
I originally thought this issue might be due to the original firestick being a few years old so I went and purchased a new 4K Max but the problem is still there. I have tried factory resetting and reinstalling the plex app on the firestick but it does the exact same thing and almost in the same place, So I tried another copy of the movie and it hasn’t made a bit of difference.
If I try playing it with Jellyfin I do not have any issue and I can seek backwards and forwards with ease with jellyfin.
Can someone tell me if I am meant to do a certain setting or something or do I just have bad luck ?
