Currently, Plexamp does not allow you to view or edit album ratings. You have to go to the “main” Plex app to do so. This seems like an easy and valuable thing to add to Plexamp.

Yes, albums need to have the same rating options we have for songs.
Plexamp team, please consider adding album ratings to the UI.

I second that. It seems fewer people think their music in terms of albums nowadays… I miss a feature to rate/favourite albums in plexamp.

I realized you can rate albums in Plexamp. When I click the album name while the song is playing, a rating option appears at the bottom of the options list that appear. This is different from song rating option, since I use a one-star rating for songs yet the album rating is 5-stars. But I believe rating an album this way will apply the rating to every song in the album, which may complicate things.
