I have a large music Library, which I like to browse via albums. When entering an album which commonly has 15 or more tracks, it is hard to remember which tracks were the ones I like. Plex has the option to rate individual songs, however you guys make it very difficult to see those ratings. Please see the screen shots below:
Here is an album view, many of the songs have been rated, notice how you cannot easily tell which tracks have been voted on.
Is there anyway to make Plex look like this instead?
This way I could easily see what songs I like on that album, and don't have to delve into the options for each song.
Is anyone else interested in this feature? It would be extremely useful to me, and I can’t help but think that others would really use it to, and I don’t think it would be that difficult for Plex to implement, yet it doesn’t seem to be gaining any support. Is there a way I can do this on my own?
I am very much interested in this as well. To be honest, I cannot conceive why it wasn’t implemented already. Others surely would appreciate this feature so please speak up.
The best I can tell, is that a lot of people don’t use the plex media server web interface, and when they do, they aren’t usually looking at music. But I am already super excited, someone else has vocalized their support for this! Perhaps we can get more people to see it’s usefulness.
I liked your post to give the upvote on this one. This would be a HUGE perk in the library and something it is really missing compared to iTunes.
I would take it one step further and say that I want customizable columns I can add. I really want to be able to view rating, file/codec type, genre, etc. right from song or album view.
