Visible enhancement and play-selection of "Versions"

Hi,

any chance to implement the following?

Kind of visible sign in the movie detail view - like the trailer button - if a movie has different versions. (stored in the movie folder)

And:
Adding probably the file title to the pop-up which shows up, before selecting the version to play.

Example, I have a movie with Part 1 and Part 2 - both assigned to the same movie-id

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1911663/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4

but it would be helpful, if I could “see” which version is part one:)

(hope image upload worked)

… instead of just seeing:

play Version:
5.2 Mbps, 576i
5.3 Mbps, 576i

I’m pretty sure there is a feature request for this that you can add your vote to.
(Sorry, On mobile at the moment so difficult to link)

As for the existing feature suggestion mentioned by Hitsville:

As for your actual issue… If this is 2 sequential parts of the same video instead of different (quality) versions… you might need to review your file naming. Properly named, such stacked files will be displayed as a single item with the duration of all its parts, playing all those parts in sequence.

Example:

Movies <- the folder linked to your movie library
Die letzte Spur - Alexandra, 17 Jahre (2011)
    Die letzte Spur - Alexandra, 17 Jahre (2011) - pt1.ext
    Die letzte Spur - Alexandra, 17 Jahre (2011) - pt2.ext

Thx for your hints.

Just voted for the “feature”
would really be great if implemented.
