Hey Guys,
One glaring thing missing from my current setup (Android TV) is Dynamic Range Compression (sometimes called Night Movie Mode or in PHT/KODI case Volume Amplification)
All my previous rigs have had this feature (WDTV, WMC, XBMC, PHT) and its something i'm struggling to live without.
Without it i'm finding myself having to constantly have to ride the volume up on the remote control during quiet dialog scenes then quickly down on gunfire/explosion scenes.

+1 for this. There are a couple of Bug/Feature suggestions in the more appropriate forum which you should vote up by hitting ‘Like’ on those original posts.
I have the same audio problem with my android box T95Z plus. … can’t find anything online but seen your post with no replies. Did you figure out a solution? Thanks ill try anything …all I found so far I might try “sound lock” but my problem is pretty much just for movies when the music/action plays louder than the
the dialogue. Thank you
