The audio is really low on my recordings compared to anything else. Is there a way to fix this?
I did see this setting: **Multi-Channel Audio Boost **
Not sure if that has anything to do with it but I tried all the settings with it now being on huge.
Can’t figure out why the volume is so low. I just have the audio coming out of my monitor (hdmi output).
That’s the problem with discs ripped and converted when people don’t know what they are doing.
By any chance is this a stereo channel? If so that’s usually because someone converted multi-channel down to stereo and didn’t do it correctly.
Basically what you really want to do is normalize your sound in all your files which is a time consuming thing to do. I’ve done this so I no longer need to grab the remote to constantly change sound between movies.

I haven’t done any disc ripping or anything else.
These are mostly just recording TV programs and letting Plex do it’s thing.
HDHomerun plays recorded TV at normal volumes as does NextPvr, but Plex volume seems way low.
I like the volume just loud enough to hear but finding I need to turn it almost all the way up.
Then I better turn it back down before I use another program.
Is this all files or just some? Can you post the XML of one of the files?
Could be something like a multi-channel audio and only playing back as 2 channels and loosing channels (and sound).
