Any chance VP9 HDR support could be fixed to play with proper HDR colours?

The player (Google TV streamer) supports the format. It actually plays the same video in youtube app just fine. The video was downloaded to plex. It plays in proper HDR when transcoding, but washed out when direct play is used…
