So I was thinking that if all the connections are secured under https is there any reason why I should be using a VPN for using it remotely?

There is none, really.
Except if your ISP is particularly nasty and figures out a way to identify your traffic as coming from Plex (despite it being encrypted), in order to “throttle” it. (oh wait, that’s nowadays called “bandwidth management”)…
Make sure to use an external port number which is different from 32400.

Yeh i have changed the external port since everyone knows the default. Is there any way to change or increase the security level encryption
No, but I don’t see the need for it, either.
If TLS is not secure enough for you, you appear to have a whole different problem.
see https://support.plex.tv/articles/206225077-how-to-use-secure-server-connections/
so the likeliness of them to find out the encryption is low?
Sorry, I’m not sure what you are asking.
Do you mean
yeh basically breaking
The likelihood of breaking TLS is low, unless a weakness in TLS is found.
Ok sweet thanks i dont know much about encryption but thanks for your help
