Since the new 64-bit version supports bonjour again, I thought I'd set everything up where my MacMini falls asleep and can be woken up by plex clients again. Now The aTV doesn't wake the mini since it only supports GDM if I'm right
My situation:
I have read about setting home sharing in iTunes so an aTV wakes a Mac mini. On my mac, running iTunes 11.1 keeps the Mac mini awake (pmset -g assertions) So enabling home sharing is no use. It won't fall asleep anyway.
And enabling bonjour for atv (for the dns and webserver) via terminal windows (as read in another topic) keeps my Mac mini awake as well. The open terminal windows prevent falling asleep
Strange? Two solutions to be able to wake up my mini prevent it to fall asleep. What am i missing here?
