I have a library on my plex server for recorded sports broadcasts. I set it up as an “other video” (formerly “home video”), so that Plex doesn’t try to match a recorded Formula 1 race to a movie. My problem is Plex will take a random frame (I assume it’s random) from each video and use that as the cover art. More often than you would think, this random frame spoils something big. For example it might be the winner standing on the podium at the end of a race. Is there a way to just have BLANK covers on videos?
