Want to give another user of my home "admin" access so that they can add and modify movies

How can I do this? Is it even possible?

No, this is not possible.

Workaround:
You could give them ‘write’ access to a folder on your server or NAS (simply on a ‘network share’ basis, completely outside of Plex) where they can place their new movie files.
Then let Plex update the library every x hours.

Of course that way they have to exercise strict file naming discipline for their files to get recognised/matched correctly, since they cannot perform manual corrections without administrative access to Plex.

They already have that permission on the NAS, but that was all that I was wondering. Is there any future update for this or what? I dont wanna be the one fixing all of the filenames and organization of the structure if I am able to have an additional person to assist.

Plex gives usually no info on coming features. I can’t tell you if this is on the table.
It may be or not.

Until there is news from Plex, in the mean time, give your “media assistant” a proper schooling in file names and tv show folder structure.
Maybe introduce them to a tool like Filebot which can take much of the grunt work and takes the “suck” out of the task.
