Hi guys,
I have been using Kodi for a verry long time and recently learned about plex and I want to switch over cause plex can be run from my tv’s while kodi can’t. However i can’t seem to get Plex to work fully.
I have installed plex media server on a windows machine for testing and i have some tv shows on that same system. I have added the tv show folder to plex and that is all working great. What isn’t working however are the subtitles and the tv app.

subtitles: I have enabled the opensubtitles agent and populated it with a working account and put the opensubtitles on top of the list and added the prefered languages. I have also restarted the pms and rescanned the library but plex says there aren’t any subs while on kodi i find 9 subs for the episode i ran the test on.

tv app: I have a samsung tv and i have installed plex on it through its “app store” i got prompted to enter a code in a webbrowser and it is connected, it also shows up in my trusted devices. however on the tv i get my pms with a big red x near it and when i click it it simply says: This server is currently unavailable. PMS is running on the windows machine and i have also tried to restart it.
some general info that might be of use: i have disabled the feature to watch outside of the house and all the devices i have mentioned are in the same subnet.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
