I have setup a Plex media server on Nvidia shield TV Pro. The files and the media server is located on an external 5tb drive connected via USB to the Nvidia shield TV Pro. I also access the Plex client on the same Nvidia shield, Plex Client on Apple TV, Infuse on Apple TV and inbuilt Plex Client on LG WebOS. All of these devices are directly connected to the same LG OLED via HDMI. I haven’t accessed the Plex outside of my Home Network ever.
The issue is no matter which client I use to watch the TV Shows or movies, the watch status gets reset after every few hours or a day at the most. The Plex forgets whatever I have watched. The watch status sync is turned on in the server settings but it still doesn’t work.
