Watch Together Not Working After 4-12-2023 9.20.0.806 App Update

Server Version#: 1.32.0.6918 (I updated to this today after encountering the issue, issue persisted on previous version too)
Player Version#: 9.20.0.806

After the latest update of the Plex app applied to my Android device from the Google app store, I have been unable to “Watch Together” with a housemate. At the first step where you select Watch Together and a list is supposed to display, it errors instead. The error displays as “An error has occurred, please try again later”.

We use this at our separate desks in the same room to watch shows, with one of us outputting sound through speakers we can both hear.
Both of our devices are Android, his is a Samsung Tablet, mine is a Kindle Fire running a custom-rom.

Is anyone else having this issue?
Is anyone able to see the Watch Together menu of users loading at least?

Watch Together Error Has occured when using Managed Accounts - admin account ok (temp fix)

I am also having this problem, and I have some more details. I think there’s something wrong with the account that I can’t see. The problem happens on 2 different shield TV boxes (on on the same network as the server, the other is remote). But it only happens on the one managed account. I created a new managed user and that new user can start a “watch together”. I can’t see what would be different about this new user from the old one.
