Watched Status and Actor Filter Broken

After the latest update, there are serious issues with the watched/unwatched status for movies and TV shows — the icons and numbers have simply disappeared. This makes browsing the media library extremely inconvenient.

It feels like the product wasn’t properly tested before release. Many features that used to work are now broken. For example, the mobile app no longer supports Russian — which I could overlook — but when the actor filter also stops working on top of everything else, the app becomes incredibly frustrating to use. I can’t even tell whether I’ve finished watching a series or if a new episode has been released.

Please take these issues seriously and fix the app as soon as possible. Plex used to be a convenient and reliable solution, and it’s frustrating to see the quality drop so drastically after a single update.

I haven’t received any response to my request for almost a month. At this point, it really feels like Plex support either doesn’t exist or is deliberately ignoring its users.

I’d like some clarity: is the issue I reported a bug, or is this the way things are supposed to work now? Everything is broken — and no one seems to care. Users keep posting messages one after another, but there’s complete silence in return. This shows a total disregard for your user base and a shocking lack of concern for the quality of your service.

if you read the “teams” response to this “updated Plex” all they say they are so overwhelmed with all the posts about this version. Completely ignoring 90% of post all over are about how buggy and unfinished the “update” is.

This thing should newer been pushed out but kept in “beta” for at least a couple more months. But hey, its much cheaper to have its userbase being the “beta testers”.

The minute i saw this “update” being pushed out, i turned off all auto-updates on my Shield. I want touch it if they pay me.
