I had the same issue. Only way I can get it to work is to switch to using the Plex Midia Player and not PHT.
Yep same here I noticed this with PHT as well.
Same here. I run two HTPCs with PHT - both won’t update played status against Server v1. Is this deliberate to push people away from PHT? I’ve got everything working perfectly on those clients so really don’t want to move.
Is Plex Home Theater still around? Plex Home Theater is still available and open source. We’re no longer actively developing it and are focusing our efforts on making Plex Media Player the best experience possible. (We’ll continue to make bug fixes for PHT for now.)
Plex Inc have changed the way PMS is validated in PHT, this has resulted in a number of functions no longer working, and it will never be fixed as Plex Inc abandoned PHT last October, PMP is very much still beta (alpha?).
OpenPHT has fixed the issue and a release is due tomorrow, why not take the opportunity to switch to OpenPHT https://forums.plex.tv/categories/openpht
