So i think is something with this version but when i am watching something on my LG TV they would just STOP randomly and then start the next thing on the list not sure if it is an encoding problem or not…I also thought maybe it was my server so i did a reinstall of the OS and plex and still happening…any ideas?
Got the file. I see it playing a TV episode for approximately 19 minutes then moving on to another video. There are no errors shown and the request to move on came from the client. What client were you using to watch? Do you happen to have the logs from the client for the same time period (~ Dec 18, 2016 12:07:36.261 your local time)?
Doh. Didn’t realize you were using DLNA. Well, DLNA is an old protocol and not even standardized so when there are problems, they can be hard to identify. I went back and looked at your logs and there’s nothing showing you playing any files. Either you got the log files too late, which doesn’t seem right, the oldest DLNA log goes back to Dec 8 or I’m just not seeing the playback.
Can you try recreating the problem again and note what time the video finished and jumped to the next one? Then get me new logs.
I will try. But them logs are from RIGHT after it happen…So i will try it again and let you i know! We never had these problems before till a few updates ago everything worked just fine.
I got the new logs. Unfortunately, there isn’t enough information to tell what’s going on. When using DLNA, there just isn’t enough info. Basically, your TV requested the file, PMS delivered it, then the TV decided to stop for some reason.
