I have started using the watchlist feature to keep track of all the new episodes of shows I’m watching, and it seems to be mostly working, but for some reason there is one thing missing that makes it mostly useless. Once I find a show that I want to watch in my watchlist, I try to watch that show, and then it offers me a list of streaming services that have the episode, and then when I choose one, one of 2 things happen:

On Android phone (or tablet) , I am presented with a message “Linking to other apps is currently unavailable”. I can kind of live with this since I rarely watch shows directly from my phone, and It’s not that hard to navigate to the correct app.

On Android TV it looks similar, I get the list of services, but when I choose one to launch (e.g. Peacock), it doesn’t do anything, it just puts me back at the place I was…if, by chance, the show happens to be in my Plex library, it works fine.
Is this supposed to work on Android TV, or Is this noy yet supported on Android TV either? Any indication on when it will be available?
