Currently, we have to filter to separate TV and Movies, but if they aren’t filtered, they are mixed together, Similar to Netflix.
What I’m proposing is that they are split into two, or we have two tabs for watchlists. Amazon Prime Video separates your movies and TV shows on the same page, and it is much easier to navigate.
I posted a similar suggestion and then came across yours. I said like if you have a Movie library as most do when you go in at the top you can select watchlist where it shows library or recommended etc and it will only show you the Movies in your watchlist and still let you sort or filter but a year or if its currently streaming etc and the same for if you have a TV show library it will only show you the TV shows on your watchlist. And when you are on the Home tab and click watchlist it’s the full list for you to filter and look at however you want.

I think there’s something to that. I know wouldn’t mind having the watchlist segmented in each library. Something like this right?
@OttoKerner I think the point is that as Plex adds complexity, it should also make it easier to get to the data that we need in the place that we need.
@nobrandheroes Yes as your image shows let’s say that is a Movie library then when you click on watchlist there it will only show you movies that you have watchlisted, both from that library as well as items from Discover. with it then allowing you to filter as needed and the same as if you were in a TV library with it only showing you TV Shows you watchlisted.
