Are you thinking it will be a unified Watchlist containing both the local and VOD watchlist items, or two separate watch lists?
If separate, why doesn’t the VOD watchlist have a home screen hub already?

It does, at least on my clients (tvOS, web) where I’ve pinned “Movies & Shows (On Plex)” to the sidebar. However, it is buried at the bottom of all the other hubs it adds. And if Movies and Shows is the last item on the sidebar (which it is on my clients), then its watchlist is at the very bottom of the home screen.
Honestly, I can’t remember what the plan is for the watchlists and whether to combine them or not (it’s not something I’ve directly been involved with).
Are you sure it’s not the Continue Watching you are seeing? I see that hub listed in the home page management list, but not a Watch List.
I know the Plex Movies & Shows Watchlist doesn’t show up on the Windows app or the Android TV app with a defaulted home screen.
In addition, I think there is a bug in the Android TV app, because after I defaulted the home layout, I went back into the custom management screen and the Continue Watching disappeared. I can’t find the Continue Watching hub anywhere unless the home page is on automatic.
Positive. I didn’t test the Plex desktop app earlier, but I did just now. Here’s a screenshot. For clarity’s sake I’ve unpinned everything else from my sidebar. Only Movies & Shows on Plex is pinned. It’s actually strange that it’s on top here; on the web client it pushed it all the way to the bottom.

That is weird. I have two shows in the Watch List, I unpinned everything except Movies & Shows and all I see are three hubs called That’s so 90’s, Plex Picks, and Awards Winners and Nominees. That’s it.
I only have movies in my watchlist, so that’s a possible difference.
But, it would be a shame to get this thread too off topic… ![]()
Well I tried adding some movies and removing the TV shows, but no change.
I wonder if the Server version could affect this. I’m still sitting at 1.22.1.4228. Although I would think Plex Movies & TV in the client is mostly separate from the local Server.
Well here is to hoping they are combined and the Watchlist hub can be located right under the Continue Watching hub and above the Recently Added hubs, regardless of how the libraries are arranged in the sidebar.
My main workflow for a Watchlist is to find things on a computer with a mouse/keyboard, then add them to a watchlist where the clunky TV devices can access them using minimal navigation and no “searching”.
