WD PR4100 NAS , unable to transcode movies

Hi, I recently purchased a WDPR4100, loaded Plex and it works great but tried to watch a film last night and it failed with a transcoding error. All other films appear the same and I tried multiple Players (web, Nvidea shield, Iphone). I think all the failures are MPEG-4 files, MKV seems to work fine.

I updated the server to
1.16.1.1291 but same thing happens. I press Play and the picture of the film appears but the circle spins indefinitely. Press Pause and get the trans coding error.

Not sure how to download the logs but I’ve pasted below (not verbose). Hope this is correct way, please advise if not.
Any help appreciated.

I’m having the same problem, and it happened suddenly. The icons for the videos I have on my PR4100 are visible, but I was getting a message telling me there was a transcoder error after a long wait (as griffin29 described above). Starting today I’m now getting the message “Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.” I’ve downloaded two updates recently… are they causing this?
