I was using a WDTV Live as player withHDMI output and Audio pass through .
It was playing fine including eac3 audio after adding a wdtv profile under user to include eac3.
I was given a WDTV Live unit from a friend that had WDLXTV firmware instead of WDTV firmware.
Now although the unit sees the movie listings in the PLex server library it wont play the movies . It keeps loading but nothing happens.
Any idea what is happening? Thanks
New input : The unit is working now. Not even sure why .
My problem now is the Network shares icon no longer works. Nothing happens when I click on it . Network shares dont work even with my old unit and I cant understand why. I do remember that it used to work before I installed Plex media server but I cant be sure.
New input: Problem was with the Asus Router setup and not with Plex. For network shares to work, I had to install a usb stick on the router and then enable DLNA and SMBv1 functions on the router. Also make router as master browser. Everything now works . Never had this problem when I was using a Linksys Router
