How did you get https://whatever.guid.plex.direct:32400 to load Plex Web 4.70 so that someone here can try to reproduce the issue? From all my knowledge about Plex, I cannot conceive of any way to load Plex Web 4.70 from a local server since it cannot be installed (yet). The only way to get Plex Web 4.70 (actually Plex Web 4.71 now) is by visiting https://app.plex.tv. The current latest version that can be installed bundled with the server is Plex Web 4.66.1.
I think something else is going on here and the “Plex Web 4.70” assumption is just a red herring.
