I have a number of files that always freeze in a specific place when I play them in the web player at the above URL. the time remains stuck and after a time of silence which varies with the track it starts playing agin.
They play absolutely fine in VLC so I suspect a bug in your flac decoder
All files ripped using Exact Audio Copy using flac level 8.
I’ve seen this as well, and just assumed there was a network communication error. Just yesterday I started paying attention to it, and I started keeping track of tracks that did this.
It’s definitely exactly the same place each time for each file that has the problem. So that would seem to eliminate networking as that would be random.
Are you also using a player on the same device? Is it also the web player?
Plex Web on Windows 10, playing remotely. I haven’t noticed it at the server, but I rarely use the web player there.
You mentioned that, after a time, the track would continue. I haven’t seen that, but I may not have waited long enough. If I click on the progress bar a bit beyond the sticking point, it continues.
Also using Firefox. Haven’t tried Chrome or Edge.
My library is a mix of flac and mp3, but I don’t know if the issue is unique to one or the other. Both tracks that I found yesterday are flac.
I’ve started adding these tracks (just two so far) to a Playlist, so I can start trying to reproduce the issue. I’ll have to start noting the point in the track where it stops. And grabbing log files.

Onetrack takes some 10-15 mins another seems less 1 min.

Same here. Also I notice a fainter progress bar that extens past the play bar end but does not hit then end.
I’ll try a remote player (including smart TV and Alexa if I can figure how to play a specific song) and other browers
That should be some good info for the Plex team to look at.
