Watching ‘Chicago’ on the NUC device below. At the end of the movie before the credits theres a lot of vision cutting and rapid scene changes followed by a cut to black before the credits start.
The strange thing is the audio for the credits started, but the vision was missing. Its as if the video output of the player just stopped. I rewound the movie back and it behaved exactly the same. it was like the HDMI just stopped.
Any thoughts?

Have you tried that portion of the movie on a different player like VLC or MPC? Could be an error in the file.
@benjaminwolf
Yep, tried playing it in VLC and it plays fine, no file errors. The file is a direct rip from Bluray.
If you skip through the file to the chapter marker at the start of the credits in OpenPHT it plays okay.
To me it just looks like the video coming out of the NUC stopped. Whether its the fault of the NUC or OpenPHT is the question.

Sounds like there possibly is an issue with the hardware decoder and some information such as in the chapter marking.
