So after doing lots of reading and research regarding what would fit my needs best I have come to the conclusion the wetek core may fit the bill for me. However Before I spend $200+ on another box I do have a few questions first that hopefully someone can answer that owns this device with openPHT installed.
All these questions are based on using only openPHT.
- What is the performance like?
- Is the included remote responsive and reliable?
- I will be using ethernet, is it stable?
- Will this box natively pay H265?
- What about 1080P @60FPS?
- What is the overall Plex experience like?
If I can get these questions answered by someone who has this box running openPHT I will order one if I like the answers.

The Wetek Hub is being experimented on to possibly be included in the next release. I’d probably wait and see as it’s due out soon. It’s based on much the same chips as the Odroid C2, so it should play h265 (up to 4K) natively and 60hz is no problem if your display supports it.

Maybe once it’s released and people give it a try all my questions can be answered. Thanks for the advice and yes I will wait.
