This does not work completely. All smart apps can connect but only as the last local user you cannot switch local users. And if you have a local user that is restricted to kids content for instance and you can’t switch to it then it becomes unusable…

This is a major issue that breaks the original purpose a lot of people Setup PLEX to begin with. and requiring internet to authenticate local users and to switch accounts is not only retarded it is a defect in your product.
The purpose of a media server is to serve my media. I don’t want you free movies and tv crap i can get that from Crackle or a dozen other services. I want my media served to me. I paid a lot of money for a lifetime product license so i expect it to serve my needs. I know this sounds selfish but I know I am not the only one out there who is pissed off about this and when will someone from PLEX respond to this issue and say once and for all they will fix it. Because it is a defect this was a major feature that I paid for and now they broke it. and wont bother acknowledging the fact that they don’t even care. I didn’t pay for another Netflix i paid for a media server that i could manage and have my media on. so stop holding my media hostage.
