From the latest release note:
- (Playlist) Smart playlists fail for non-leaf types when requested by a non-owner
What are “non-leaf types?”
This brings up a larger point. It’s easy for people intimately familiar with a product to unconsciously use jargon when talking to people who don’t have that familiarity. I’ve seen many statements in Plex release notes that meant little or nothing to me.
I’d like to suggest that whoever writes release notes take a moment to consider whether what they are writing will be meaningful to the target audience.
