need to convert a few videos and all my videos has this audio format
I know it 5.1 but how is it also show 2 channel??
in handbrake which audio format do I choose??
Not sure about the specifics of that audio stream. Could be a 6-channel AAC containing a 2-channel downmix. That might depend on what software you’re using to display that information and how they interpret the source.
The target for Handbrake will depend on your particular use case.
If you’re aiming for compatibility while maintaining the 5.1 channels, your best shot will be to transcode the audio to AC3. That is unless all your devices are comfortable to direct play 6-channel AAC (which has spread but is still not supported on all major platforms).
maybe this can shed some more light… it sayschannels: 2 channels and also 6 channels
this is using mediainfo… so using handbrake woudl I use mixdown to 6.1??
