what does force direct play means ? can it fix problems with navi-x in the future ?

if it means just to stream all the videos without buddering i don't want it. but if not, what it means ?

It means "force direct play" :-)

No matter what kind of media you are playing, PlexConnect want ask PMS for transcoding but just throwing the file to aTV.

If aTV can handle it (like m4v/h264/aac) everything is fine. If it can't (avi, mkv, divx) you will get an error ("error loading this content" most likely).

If you have files that require transcoding or are using Channels that use non-ATV native files, and therefore require transcoding, you should not force direct play as they will not play.

Also, remember that Individual channels are not supported at this time. If one works, great, but if it doesn’t just be patient.

Op,

Okay i am going to say this one last time, stop repeatedly opening new topics as you are in effect spamming the forum.

If you have one thread asking about the player and one about channels that is fine but any more and i will be taking action to delete them and send you on a vacation.
