I’m getting the “no write access to destination” error, but I can’t figure out what folder Plex is even trying to record to so I don’t know how to go about fixing this problem. I just finished setting up the DVR function and so I have never successfully recorded a show yet. I’m using Plex on an UnRAID server.
You pick the Library you want to record to when you setup the recording. I have the recording go to a central DVR folder that holds all my recorded and imported content. It will put them into the standard \show\S0XE0X -Show_Name_etc format.
You could just setup a folder for recording and point to it as well.

Oh ok, so in my case my Recorded TV library has only one folder added. But what if that library had multiple folders? How would I know where it is recording to in a case like that?
EDIT: I figured it out, it appears that in a case like that Plex will give you another option to chose the location from a drop down of the folders in that Library.
