Today I was helping my 84 yr old father set up his new LG WebOS TV and when we searched for the Plex app, we also found Plex Player Pro listed. It took me a while to talk him out of getting it instead of the “plain” Plex app, because Pro sounded better to him. When I searched online, it looks like something that is using the name Plex, but is completely unrelated to Plex. Am I correct?
If I am correct, are they infringing on the Plex name in some way? Trying to snag unsuspecting new users? Somehow, it just sounds wrong to me.
