I’m really happy and amazed by the promptness solution to the update from Apple, you guys are really amazing.
But I can’t stop thinking if this solution last forever, or Plexconnect will have to live with the fear that another update block it again?. I don’t want to be pessimistic, but It would be great if we didn’t have to live with that fear and have an app like Plex for iOS or Roku (although the UI is hideous ), while we have to wait until Apple releases its SDK for AppleTV (I doubt).
Just wanted to hear your opinions, do you think the developers will overcome these obstacles? if there will be an update that will not have to use Apple Configurator?
I remain hopeful that Apple will release an SDK for the AppleTV. PlexConnect has really expanded the usefulness of mine. I was gutted when it stopped working.
