Use DNS redirect trick to avoid ATV iOS Updates?

Hi,

 

Is it possible for the PlexConnect app to also redirect & block iOS Update Requests from the AppleTV so it is not possible to update the AppleTV if someone accidentally clicks "Yes" to an Apple TV iOS update?

 

Who knows what changes Apple might make to the trailer app come the next AppleTV software release. I want to ensure my Apple TV is only updated when i choose so, and not accidentally by someone else in the house.

 

Would this be possible?

Yes very possible. In fact the Apple TV would just never ask to update.
