What should I upgrade in my server PC?

Hi.

I’m currently running my plex server on a PC with an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G and 8gb of RAM. I want to upgrade it so that I can stream some 4k video from it smoothly.

Should I get a dedicated video card or upgrade something else?

You may not need any modifications / additions. PMS on my DS918+, with a Celeron processor, streams 4K very smoothly.

The key to streaming 4K smoothly is to direct play, never transcode, the video and have plenty of bandwidth. The server must be on a wired gigabit connection. Clients, if wireless, need a solid signal.
