I think I missed ‘what to expect in 2018’. There is nothing mentioned.

And this guy needs an external microphone.

Another YouTube ‘Professional’ wanting to join the ranks of the Plex Mouthpieces.

If he really wanted to ‘Educate His Subscribers’ he would have asked burning questions like:
“From what Third-World ****hole do most of your coders originate”?
“Does Plex have any future plans for some leadership in the Plex App Departments”?
“Does Plex not use MP4/M4V files, or just not care about the default location of Local Media Assets”?
“What is your 2018 goal for Dollars Per User Click in the Plexiverse”? and the followup… “is that why it’s always 50 clicks to anywhere”?
“You are aware that, for all intents and purposes, Plex STILL doesn’t have an app for a Fire TV Device… are you not”?
“Have you heard of 'The Plex Dance”? “Do you know why it was invented”?
“Will you be fixing the Delete File from the Client feature in 2018, or will you just be removing that feature from the list”?

Try that and see how long Plex will work without a cord to the internet…

He also said Plex is about user experience first??

This is just another example of how YouTube and other audio/video news sources are ruining information dispersal. Even if the interview ??? was worthwhile and contained important information it takes so long to listen to it that much other important information can be lost. It takes MUCH less time to read a transcript than it does to listen/watch an audio or video file but people are too lazy or incompetent to produce a transcript and therefor a huge amount of time gets wasted. It is even worse when, like in this case, the media file contains virtually nothing of any value.

In this case it takes over 5 minutes to hear what could be read in 20 seconds or less.
