I recently installed PMS on my Synology NAS, and after pointing PMS to my Photos folder, I can see in the Status->Alerts page that PMS has been adding all of my ~1 TB of photos. I let that run overnight. But I’m still missing photo thumbnails on most of my folders, whether I’m viewing them from the web player, my iOS app, or the Roku app…
I checked the Alerts page again, and it seems that every few minutes, PMS goes and ‘processes’ photos, which seems to generate a thumbnail. But after processing a bunch of photos…it just stops.
Is there anything I can do to get Plex to continue processing the rest of my photo library? How can I trigger Plex to process and finish adding my photos?
Right now I’m resorting to manually going into each folder and triggering an “Analyze”, but that’s taking forever. And the server seems to hang if I do this at the root folder level.
