What's new in editing music files like Single and EP?

I want to relaunch this topic to know what changes were implemented.

And if they didn’t … know if anything has changed since then to know how to operate on Singles or EPs in 2020.

There have been no changes towards handling singles.

I will still not be able to catalog the singles without the need to invent tags…

I don’t use tags. I just use the naming guidelines to throw all my singles together into a single album called Singles. This works well unless an artist actually releases an album called “Singles”, then I have to use a different name.

Right. I will continue to do so.
However, you will agree with me that it is not the best solution that a software like Plex should give, right?
