What's the difference between Plex and XMBC?

I’m sorry, I’m new here and have no idea. It pretty much looks the same to me?

Initially it will since the fork was recent, however as time moves on there will be more focus on using the power OS X to add features specific to the Mac.

There is actually lots of small differences that users don’t initially notice. Lots of nice little OS X integrated touches have made it into the Plex code but never got added to the XBMC code (at least that I’ve seen). 0.7 will be a little more obvious.
