Has anyone taken a peek at the XBMC Atlantis features? What new things will it bring to Plex?

You have to love comments like above but
TEAM XBMC commits everything they make/add to their SVN when it gets made (and is useable) they do not hold off commiting stuff until a release version. So if you want to know what things are included feel free to download XBMC for OSX from http://xbmc.org/download/ and see what is in it, or you can compile your own more up to date version with fixes from our source code

XBMC is currently in a feature freeze bug fix stage though so the only thing that getting added now fromthe downloadable version is bug fixes (which elan useally gets anyway) after that new features will come
P.S if you download and install the mediastream skin for xbmc from http://teamrazorfish.co.uk/mediastream.html it will probably be 95+% just like plex currently is
Thanks but I was just CURIOUS if anything new was coming (since I didn’t know what ‘features’ are in “Atlantis” which is why I asked in the first place). I don’t have the time to mess around with another xbmc at the moment.
I’m not sure why I would draw your sarcastic comment “You have to love comments like above but…”
The features in atlantis are 99% the same as plex because up until very recently they were the same program. So the features in it are the same features plex has for the most part except for new things either party has added since then which really is only little things. Using XBMC will be pretty much the same as using plex. Until we get out of feature freeze bug fix then it will be lots more
The “sarcastic” comment was about you have to love that instead of thinking “I wonder if its got any good features I like and maybe could use XBMC”, its what can we rip out of it to try and keep up with good stuff they add. Same as when boxee (another xbmc based media center) was released some of the first comments on this forum were what can we take out of it.
Anyway I’m not here to cause a fight and no matter what further replies get made here I will refrain from mentioning it anymore. The above is explaining what I meant and not meant to be taken as anything else and is only personal opinion from me not team xbmc

People like that just act condescending to make themselves feel superior. <_< Instead of answering your question by simply telling you the differences or where to find them, he felt it necessary to soapbox his own "XBMC vs PLEX vs Boxee" comments. Which look to me like him projecting his own issues at best, and flame baiting your post at worst.

You know, I did think that. I thought “I wonder if its got any good features I like and maybe could use XBMC” - and then I remembered being treated like a piece of crap on the xbmc forums when I WAS using xbmc, and so I will stay here thank you very much.
I appreciate all the work that the xbmc guys do, but they have a long way to go on social skills and what it means to build a community.
