Well it would NOT help me and it would, due to the fact that a huge amount of what people play using Plex is pirated material , make Plex the legitimate target of anti-piracy actions.
It is a HORRIBLE idea that Plex needs to actively ignore.
Yeah sorry OP but I’m with @Elijah_Baley on this one. Plex is just on the legal side of things, and if they start giving us places to actually store our pirated material it would lead to Plex being shut down. You may not have any pirated material yourself, OP, but the vast majority of Plex’s userbase is pirates streaming our “ill”-gotten booty.
