Yes no GM, because rumors are saying there will be the presentation of a new Apple TV with the new aTV version of iOS, including some interesting new features (channels? services?), next month.

Beta3 worked at some point, right. This was BEFORE the https disaster, though. No need for certificates and such.
With Beta4 - so reports were - the whole trailers app was broken. Short time after the https request was publicity introduced.
I did not hear/read any updates since then.

How do you guys install the certificate onto the ATV2? I followed the instructions and it won't allow me to install the profile. I hit install button and nothing happens. I am using Mac OS X btw and not windows.
My ATV2 is currently running the latest iOS 7 beta 4 i believe.
Please, described your problem in more detail. At which step do you face problems?...
Beside this, I noticed that not every micro-USB cable is working to get the ATV connected to the computer. I used one of my HTC phone.

Good to know GM seed works, I've been on vacation for last two weeks so did not have a chance to grab the seed and install it.
There does seem to be something happening in regards to Apple TV, both in the very near future and also a bit further out (could be an announcement of a 'coming soon' project)

Follow my tut in my signature for osx installation to atv2/3 There is no ios7 for atv at the moment. 4.x-5.x typically at the most 5.4 seed4 from what I understand is the latest beta also.

Everything points to no AppleTV iOS update tomorrow. Last beta was released 8/6, since then Apple has not been releasing it alongside the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch builds.
I'd expect news on a more polished version in the coming weeks. Lots of evidence pointing to new iPad hardware (and new mystery hardware) towards the end of October, so perhaps it makes sense to release then.

Yeah the fact that Apple pulled the ATV dev builds today after pretty much dead silence the past 1.5 months just makes me believe that they've got something going on behind the scenes even more. I mean they could just be running late with it, but somehow I doubt that.
My MDM vendor's promotional materials for iOS 7 have a bunch of references to AppleTV, but I can't (as of yet) leverage any of those new features b/c the new OS isn't out. To me, this definitely screams out Apple has been holding back. Whether that's because of development snags or marketing timing, who knows.
Might be a new Apple TV, with new features in IOS...
Some rumors are now saying... why not games support !? (with the new game controler API, to fight with the Android games boxes, the PS VITA TV, ...)

Following the release of iOS 7 and the debut of its new iPhones, Apple has today pushed a new software update to its Apple TV set-top box following months of testing. As expected, the update offers a number of new features for Apple TV users, including support for Apple’s newly released iTunes Radio music service, iCloud Photos and Videos, iTunes Music Store purchases on the device, Podcasts, and AirPlay from iCloud.
With AirPlay from iCloud, iTunes users can play content purchased from the iTunes store on any Apple TV, streaming it via iCloud.
Apple has been working hard to bolster its Apple TV content offerings in recent months and has added additional apps for Vevo, The Weather Channel, the Disney Channel, the Smithsonian Channel, and more. The company is also rumored to be working on an updated version of its Apple TV hardware, which could debut later this year.
