When delete a movie ... it creates a secondary entry like $5425667

Like sub says … it creates a secondary file which also has to be deleted. I think it is a pointer to the recycle can. Is there a way to just delete without this secondary file I have to delete? Or am i doing something wrong. From the library I go to the … of a file (bottom right i believe) and select delete. Then Yes.

Sounds like some behavior linked to Windows or a rare/specific configuration of yours. I don’t think that’s actually caused by Plex (except for initiating the deletion).

A screen shot might help someone recognize exactly what’s happening

Can you post a screenshot of your library config show the file paths? (I have a suspicion)
