How frequent is the update? And shouldnt friday release time be key update time for plex?

We generally process updates once per day. We’re looking into why we’re not getting new things in a timely fashion.

Also “new releases on tidal” in plexamp is broken. It shows the same thing for about 2 weeks now and its not the newest releases
@elan I added couple of new albums few days ago via tidal web interface and these are still not visible in plex. Any update why updates are not happening ?
i’m not sure, we just hit the plex tidal cloud service. you added them to My Albums or whatever and they’re not showing up? do you see them in the plex web app?
So what I would usually do is browse for albums I want in my plex using tidal.com and “heart” them, these then show up in tidal’s my “collection->albums”. From there in plex pretty much instantly I see them in “music on tidal->my tidal” apart from two very new releases from earlier this week. No matter whether I’m using plex amp (my preferred way of listening to music) or web interface (where I manage albums to be added to my plex etc.) these very new albums are not showing (i can’t see them in plex search results or browsing these artists as well). My plex server is running on last Ubuntu LTS on intel NUC 10.
ah if it’s very new albums then they might not be imported by our system yet. justin is looking into that. what albums are they?

That subgenre of metal might not be to everyone’s liking though! 
Albums are now showing inside plex, not sure if you did anything or this just enough time had to pass
How often does plex hit tidal? It seems everyday update is not totally unreasonable. Currently seems the update is once every 3 days
we do incremental updates every day, and then full update every friday for new music day.
