Tidal Integration - Compounding Issues

To summarise the major issues currently besetting Plex Tidal integration:

1. New releases available directly from Tidal are not available via Plex until after some delay - and this delay appears to be increasing
2. Plex surfaces releases that are not available directly from Tidal
3. Plex fails to surface releases that are available directly from Tidal

These issues severly diminish the usefulness of the integration.

Edit: Note that Sonos Tidal integration does not suffer from these issues.

Tidal - new singles do not show up

Lately, I am encountering an issue that I cannot find new Tidal singles and play or add them to my Plex instance. I reconnected Tidal to my Plex subscription and restarted the server. Unfortunately, I still cannot play or add new singles, which are playable for me when I do it directly from the Tidal app. It concerns the followings singles: Ryan Adams - Big Colors Duran Duran - Invisible Can somebody please help?

Tidal albums not playing (Error code: s1001)

Another issue i’ve encountered with Tidal on Plex, some albums are not playing and coming with a network error. I have tried unlinking, relinking, turn off and on music, etc, nothing works. My example right now is ATLiens by Outkast, which comes up with this error in Plex, but not in the tidal app. Can someone from Plex actually address concerns on this, as it seems there is radio silence on the forums about the integration issues people are facing.

New Music Arrivals missing from Plex

As a paid subscriber to this service, I’d hope that the integration would work a little better. But it takes days/weeks before songs from Tidal show up in plex. Some songs from months ago are still not in plex. It kind of defeats the purpose of the integration if I have to seek out the song I want from another source. When does Tidal inside plex update?

Does anybody know how long it usually takes for Tidal in plex to update? I’ve had it many a times that new releases take up to several days to show up in plex whilst they have been available on the tidal app and website

Albums playable on Tidal.com, but not through Plex

I have a Plex Pass and a Tidal subscription through Plex. However, I’ve had this situation creep up a lot lately. Albums appear on Tidal.com, and play fine the Tidal app or the Tidal website. The albums also show up in the Plex view of Tidal. BUT, they won’t actually play from the Plex web app or the iOS platform. I’m using the Plex web app (https://app.plex.tv/desktop) in Google Chrome. Plex shows Tidal albums that are unavailable in my country

E.g. this Jane Horrocks album is not available on my Tidal, but still shows up in Plex: Plex: [image] Tidal: [image] Server Version#: irrelevant Player Version#: latest Plex Web, Plexamp et cetera (probably irrelevant)

The album I was waiting for when I made my original topic was ENHYPEN - BORDER:CARNIVAL wich eventually showed up after a couple of weeks

It’s hard for me to believe that there is something wrong with individual tracks or albums in Tidal that are causing them to not appear in Plex. It seems more likely that there is a systemic problem. In any case, this album is in Tidal but I can’t see it in Plex: Victor Gould In Our Time, In Our Time by Victor Gould on TIDAL .

Just to add to this thread, I have another issue with Tidal that may also be affecting the issues shown above. As I’ve explained in “Tidal integration picking up wrong album data”, an album I can view on Tidal is incorrectly identified when viewed in Plex and has the wrong narrative text and omits five tracks as a consequence. There is no way to “Fix match” like there is with library files, so it’ impossible to play the whole album via plex.

The same artist I made a thread for before has released another album on TIDAL and yet again it’s not showing up in Plex : TIDAL

Put it in a playlist on tidal - the playlist shows up in plex - shows correct running time and album cover collage thingy - doesnt have any tracks inside
