Video transcoding is disabled. Direct Play and Direct Stream are both enabled.
This TV is incompatible with DTS, so I disabled it in my Plex app settings.
However, when I play a movie, instead of transcoding the audio stream, it just buffers for a while and then times out.

…until it just stops trying.
Sometimes the WebOS app will actually run out of memory and crash before Plex times out, which leads me to believe that it’s trying to buffer the whole movie or something.
The issue is reproducible with the legacy WebOS app as well.

Let me know if I can provide any other info. I’m not eager to [pre-]transcode my UHD rips to accommodate Plex.
