Where add manually plugins?

Where i can add plugins (manually) in server plex on shield tv?
Folder?

At this moment it’s not possible. From: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/221099648-Limitations-When-Running-Plex-Media-Server-on-NVIDIA-SHIELD

When running on the NVIDIA SHIELD, the Plex Media Server data directory is not currently user-accessible. Unfortunately, this means that it is not currently possible to manually install channels or plugins on the device. You can, of course, still install things through the normal Channel Directory.

As it will be realized?

I don’t think anyone can answer that question with certainty. It has been requested many times on forum already.

Many people can answer it with certainty, unless OP is not willing to root. See below (copy/pasted from one of my other posts, since Ive posted it so many times already…)

If rooted it is very simple (and rooting is pretty simple to do as well). See below for how to gain control over the Plugins folder.
Run these terminal commands on the Shield (will need to download a Terminal app from the Play Store):
su (hit enter)
ln -sf “/sdcard/Plug-ins/” “/data/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server” (hit enter)
Copy all contents of original “Plug-ins” folder (located at /data/data/com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb/Plex Media Server) to the newly created “Plug-ins” folder (at /sdcard/Plug-ins/) on your SD card.
Then just “install” plugins to /sdcard/Plug-ins/ folder.

why isn’t trakt in the normal Channel Directory?

Also why isn’t there an extra plugins folder for manual installation?

I have moved my database over to an external SSD drive… and have placed my Plug-ins out here and rebooted and they show up. You will have to share out your external drive.

\IP of Shield\Name of shared SSD Drive\Android\data\com.plexapp.mediaserver.smb\Plex Media Server\Plug-ins

Plugins need to apply to be in the Channel Directory. I don’t know the story, but either they did not apply, they did and still waiting for an answer, or they applied but was not approved.

Shield runs on Android which if different then other OS’s. Move the PMS data to another location, then you will have access and can manually install plugins.
